Join USO Stuttgart as we explore the country of Turkey through food. Our chef, Carolina, will be whipping up a delicious lunch for us to enjoy! Stop by the USO center on Panzer Kaserne, November 14th starting at 11 am.

Turkish cuisine is known for fresh, flavorful foods/ingredients. Staples include olive oil, fresh herbs like mint and parsley, spices such as sumac and red pepper flakes, and a variety of meats including lamb, beef, and chicken. Legumes and grains like lentils and bulgur also play crucial roles, forming the backbone of many traditional recipes. These ingredients not only provide the foundation for numerous dishes but also reflect Turkey’s rich agricultural heritage.
