February 2018 USO Stuttgart Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Kristin DeLuca!

Kristin has done a little bit of everything at USO Stuttgart. Beginning in April of 2014, Kristin has donated over 1200 hours of her time to leading tours, supporting events and programs, and manning the front desk. And that is just the tip of the iceberg! Most notably in recent months, Kristin can been found every other week leading Story and Craft Time in the USO Center for the youngest members of the community. She dedicates her time to researching books that are kid favorites, but that foster topics of conversation that will outlast the event itself (ex: a children’s book on the Chinese New Year, or ‘The Lorax’ for Dr. Suess’ birthday). With her frank honesty and genuine heart, everyone who meets Kristin knows she is the real deal, and she is well loved for it both at the USO and in the community. Thank you for all you do Kristin!
