Quarter 4 Volunteer of the Quarter - Sergio Dominguez

Drumroll please! Introducing, Sergio Dominguez, USO Stuttgart’s 2024 Quarter 4 Volunteer of the Quarter!

Sergio became an active volunteer with the USO in June of 2023.Sergio has become an invaluable volunteer at the front desk, while also stepping up to support our larger events around the garrison. Sergio shows up to support his community whenever he can, even offering the use of his truck to haul grills and tents to events. He spends every four-day weekend and holiday supporting USO events in and out of center. When Sergio was granted a day off to celebrate his birthday, he signed up to be at the USO Center from opening to closing! He arrives early, stays late, and makes sure the job gets done. Sergio even brings new soldiers in his unit to the USO, encourages them to sign up for orientation, and ensures they sign up for their first shift. Recently, Sergio has stepped up to become lead volunteer for our Veteran’s Day Burritos program, working with his command to re-arrange his schedule to accommodate the prep and event shifts. He is the calm center of the volunteer team, making sure every voice is heard and is a constant inspiration. Sergio personifies the USO Mission and the spirit of the USO!
