November 2023 Volunteer of the Month - Olivia Bauder

Join us in congratulating USO Stuttgart’s November 2023 Volunteer of the Month, Olivia Bauder!

Olivia began volunteering with USO Stuttgart in July of 2023. Olivia has donated over 100 hours across 41 shifts. Less than a week after becoming an active volunteer, Olivia trained on the front desk and became lead volunteer of two programs! As lead volunteer for our Grab & Grow Plant Wall, Olivia has shown that she has a golden green thumb when it comes to keeping our plant wall stocked and alive. She comes into center every two weeks to clean, water, and stock our plant wall! Not only is Olivia an amazing gardener, but she is also amazing with our Sensory Circle Kiddos! Olivia has created great activities and built a partnership with EDIS to enhance the program in 2024. As if that wasn’t enough, Olivia bakes, cooks, cleans, is a photographer, ice cream scooper, helps run the center, and probably can fly! Olivia always steps up when we need help, gives honest feedback to help us improve, helps us brainstorm and problem solve, and arrives early or stays late to help us out! Without Olivia’s support and problem solving this holiday season, our programs would not be as amazing.
