Meet Kymberlee Gilkey, USO Stuttgart’s 2023 Quarter 4 Volunteer of the Quarter!

Kymberlee had been a member of the USO Stuttgart volunteer family since November 2019, serving as lead volunteer for Story & Craft Time and the MilSpouse Workshops. She has donated over 500 hours over 191 different volunteer shifts. Kymberlee started off her volunteer career with a bang, signing on as our lead volunteer for Story & Craft Time and starting our very popular military spouses crafting workshops! She finds fun books for our military kids to enjoy, plans a song and dance to go along with it, and tops off the event with a fun, messy craft… Usually involving glitter. As a volunteer during COVID, Kymberlee quickly adapted to the new life situation. She stepped up to support her fellow volunteers and community by launching Virtual Story & Craft Time. Ms. Kymberlee is super popular with our Story and Craft time kiddos! Kymberlee always goes above and beyond for our military spouses as well. She planned a relaxing spa day for Military Spouse Appreciation Day with custom candle making, bath salts, and face masks. Throughout her career as a volunteer, Kymberlee has seen lots of staff members and volunteers pcs in and out of Stuttgart. She always ensures that our community continues to receive the best quality services and programs, no matter what. Kymberlee’s bright smile and themed outfits always leave a spot of sunshine wherever she goes. We are so grateful to have someone like Kymberlee on our team!
