June 2023 Volunteer of the Month - Karen Stroup

Introducing Karen Stroup, USO Stuttgart’s June Volunteer of the Month!

Karen began volunteering with USO Stuttgart in August of 2019. She has donated over 540 hours across 132 volunteer shifts in her dedication to the community. Karen jumped into volunteering by training at the front desk and supporting a variety of events. She is skilled at the grill, makes gift wrapping an art, and can even cook and bake! Karen has been instrumental in the success of many of our programs like movie nights, grilling events, holiday events, quarterly lunches, Sun & Fun, MilSpouse Workshops, and so much more! Throughout her career as a volunteer, Karen has seen staff members and fellow volunteers PCS in and out of Stuttgart. She always ensures that our community continues to receive the best quality services and programs, no matter what. Karen is multi-talented, a problem solver who is a true asset to our team! We are so fortunate to have her in the USO family.
