January 2023 Volunteer of the Month - Christin Gasiewicz

Drumroll please! It’s Christin Gasiewicz, USO Stuttgart’s January 2023 Volunteer of the Month!

Chris became an active volunteer in November 2021 and has worked tirelessly since to support the USAG Stuttgart community. She has donated over 250 hours to serving her community in the past year! Despite her busy home life with her two girls, Chris jumps in to help USO Stuttgart whenever and wherever she is needed. When a fellow volunteer went on maternity leave, Chris stepped up as lead volunteer for Sensory Circle. She has planned activities, run the front desk, baked and cooked, popped popcorn, helped to train new volunteers, and much more! There is nothing Chris cannot do! Chris always attends our military spouse events to share knowledge and support our spouses. If there is a spouse feeing down, they can always count on her to cheer them up, check in on them, and bring them into the USO Stuttgart volunteer family. This month Chris’s help at the front desk was essential when two staff members were out of the office. She kept the customer service level high in center allowing other volunteers and staff to focus on the behind-the-scenes tasks! We know that Chris will always be here for us and this community!
