June 2022 - Volunteer of the Month - Ashley Savage

Meet Ashley Savage, USO Stuttgart’s June Volunteer of the Month!

Ashley started as a USO Stuttgart volunteer in March 2021, but is no stranger to the USO! She first started her USO volunteering in Ramstein, Germany way back in 2016. When she returned to Germany, Ashley knew exactly where to go! From her first shift in the kitchen, baking for Oreo Day, Ashley demonstrated her commitment to the USO Mission. She quickly became a front desk volunteer and is a staple around USO Stuttgart. Ashley’s amazing baking skills quickly filled the center with delicious treats! Ashley even became a lead volunteer for our Grab & Go Library program! She works with the SCSC Thrift Store to keep our center stocked with books for our community to enjoy! A jack of all trades, Ashley helps to run the center, pack kits, bake and cook, and much more! Her problem solving and event planning are critical to USO Stuttgart’s ability to serve our community. Ashley has completed a total of 273 volunteer shifts with over 770 hours! We could not do all that we do without Ashley’s help!
