June 2020 Volunteer of the Month Allison Cooke

The only thing sweeter than the treats Allison bakes for USO Stuttgart is her personality! Allison’s sweet treats and personality have been a welcome contribution to the virtual programming we have been creating the last few months. It is always a pleasure to have Allison’s smiling face on a Sip & Share, Coffee Connection, or Movie Watch party.

While participating in our Volunteer Challenges, she has gone above and beyond. For the cookie submission, she not only learned the art of cookie decorating, she got out of her comfort zone and in front of the camera and learned video editing to create her submission. She put so much work into that submission that we included it in our Stuttgart Shows Off! When she turned in her Fruity Tooty submission of a Black Forest Cake, we commented on how we wished we could taste it. She then showed up a few days later with a delicious Black Forest Cake made just for us! Allison has been such a great example of using this time to learn new skills and has put those skills to good use to help brighten our community. Thank you, Allison, for your sweet contributions to USO Stuttgart!
