Join USO Stuttgart as we journey to the country of Spain through food. Our unofficial USO chef, Carolina, will be whipping up a delicious lunch for the community to enjoy! Stop by the USO center on Panzer Kaserne, February 20th starting at 11 am.

Spanish cuisine is celebrated for its vibrant, bold flavors and high-quality ingredients. Staples include olive oil, garlic, and a variety of fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary, along with spices such as saffron, paprika, and cumin. A wide range of meats—particularly pork, beef, and chicken—are commonly used, as well as seafood from the Mediterranean coast. Legumes like chickpeas and beans, along with grains like rice, are integral to many dishes, offering heartiness and depth of flavor. These ingredients showcase Spain’s diverse culinary traditions and its deep connection to the land and sea.
