USO Discover Germany: Trip to Rothenburg Imperial City Fest

Have you ever wondered what life was really like in Medieval times? Rothenburg ob der Tauber, possibly the most famous and best preserved medieval city in Germany, keeps history and old traditions alive in this perfect setting. The townspeople take great pride in recreating clothing, tools, and traditions from the past to bring it back to life for one weekend, along with an artisan market, great medieval fare, and more. Our guide will lead us around the quaint streets of the city, allowing us to imagine daily life in those days. You will have some free time after the tour to continue wandering the cobblestoned streets, climb the walls, and walk along the ramparts, visit one of the city’s many interesting museums, or take part in this Medieval Festival. Tour includes transportation, guided city tour, and USO Escort. Please bring Euro for food and other personal expenses.
