October 2022 - Volunteer of the Month - Nan Lawless

Introducing Nancy (Nan) Lawless, USO Stuttgart’s October Volunteer of the Month!

Nan has been a USO Stuttgart volunteer for just 3 short months which has not stopped her from already donating 59 hours of her time to this community over 14 shifts. This is despite spending all of September and half of October back in the US for a family emergency. Nan was lead volunteer for our incredibly successful and popular Halloween Hot Dog program this year. Despite being in the US, Nan planned the whole event from the menu, drinks, and decor while staying in constant contact with staff to ensure that orders were placed, supplies were purchased, and volunteers recruited. Nan has been through a lot in the last few months, but nothing has wiped the smile from her face. Her dedication to the USO and this community is unparalleled!
