June 2021 Volunteer of the Month - Ashley Savage

Congratulations to Ashley Savage, USO Stuttgart’s Volunteer of the Month for June 2021!

With almost 350 hours spent volunteering with the USO, Ashley has done it all. Grilling events, giveaways, in-center office coverage, unit lunches, kit drops, kitchen prep, and the list goes on! With her many talents and ever-positive attitude, Ashley puts her heart into serving the community. And we are all so lucky that she does! ‘Above and beyond’ is just the starting point in describing her dedication to the mission. Ashley is the one who will jump in last minute to cover a surprise shift opening, she will come in early or stay late to make sure every detail is covered, and she is not afraid to get dirty when the need arises. Ashley was one of the first to volunteers to hang out in the cold and muddy field supporting the SOCEUR Bataan March! But sometimes those cold muddy days are the ones where we are needed the most. No task is too big or too small for Ashley, and we are forever grateful to know her.

We are so proud to know Ashley and to have the opportunity to be her conduit for bringing good things to the community. Thanks to you, Ashley, for all you do!
